My apologies for the long delay in posts. We are down a person at work, and my teammate and I have been working hard to ensure all of our elementary schools are well-supported. Rest assured, I have been busy creating and implementing creative ways to integrate technology into learning! This post focuses on using technology and art to create fun, engaging learning opportunities. Let's jump in and discuss the activities driving student engagement and learning. Using the native camera app on a Chromebook, first-grade students went outside to take pictures of a new setting for a story they read. Then, they used the markup tool to draw a new character the original story characters could play with. Each student explained how their setting and character would interact with the original story characters.
